Consultation summary and feedback
Between 2021 and 2023 the Council held resident consultation process in four stages to explore future options for Southwick Estate. Four options were explored:
- Repairs and Refurbishment
- New Homes and Improvements
- Partial Redevelopment
- Full Redevelopment
The community feedback gathered through each of these stages enables the vision for the Southwick Estate to be established as a collaborative vision, which takes the latest community concerns and ideas into account.
Following the final round of consultation residents told us they preferred full redevelopment, apart from Watling Court where residents expressed a preference for refurbishment.
